As part of an effort to modernize, The Auto Club Group - AAA sought to convert its core Sales and Service application from a Windows to an AIX environment. This posed a number of technical challenges, particularly on the day of roll-out, when there were reports of performance problems at peak period workloads.

AAA had no systematic way to monitor performance from the standpoint of its most important end users-insurance agents and call center representatives.
